I have been working at Ready, Set, Grow day care for almost a year now. While I am from Massachusetts, I moved to Long Island for graduate school and was just looking for a job to earn a few extra dollars. I never expected to find a job where I would feel so loved by everyone. Joanne and her husband as well as all of the kids and their families make me feel very special to be a part of RSG, even to the point where I don't consider it a job. Joanne and Johnna put so much effort and love into RSG whether it is making sandwiches to the kids' liking for lunch, planning fun field trips and arts and crafts or kissing their boo-boos when they fall down. As a future pediatric audiologist, I hope the kids I see love me even half as much as the RSG kids love miss Joanne and miss Johnna. I truly feel honored to work at RSG

My son attended Ready Set Grow. I can't find the right words to express how grateful we feel to have found Joanne and Johnna. They were so warm and loving to my son and were so attentive to his individual needs, it gave me such a good feeling every morning when I dropped him off. He was always ecstatic in the morning to go to Ready Set Grow and see Joanne and Johnna. We have since moved and my son still wakes up in the morning asking "where's Johnna?" In the months he spent there his motor and language skills grew exponentially, my husband and I couldn't believe his development while there. Joanne and Johnna are super creative, have tons of activities for the kids everyday, and the daycare is immaculate!

My daughter Grace is 4 years old and has been with Ready, Set, Grow Daycare since the summer of 2013. She’s had a nanny for the first 3 years and though she was the best nanny ever, we know she needed to get into a program where she can socialize with other kids and learn in a preschool setting. We also needed daycare for the hours that preschool wouldn’t cover because we work fulltime. Ready, Set, Grow was the answer and taking Grace to the next level here, was the best decision we’ve ever made. She made a great transition. We feel so lucky and blessed to have found Miss Joanne and Miss Johnna. We love this daycare and Grace loves being here. They provide a very safe, organized, clean and nurturing environment. They provide an atmosphere that is fun with playtime, educational activities, music and dancing. Besides being very affordable they are very caring and affectionate with every child and take the time needed to address each child’s individual and developmental needs. I’m so amazed at all Grace has learned in such a short time (less than a year). If you are looking for a daycare/preschool then look no further, because Ready, Set, Grow, is the best.

I've been bringing my son and daughter to Ready, Set, Grow Daycare for about 4 months now. I can't say enough great things about this daycare and its staff. Joanne, Johnna and staff are absolutely wonderful with all of the kids. They treat the kids as if they were their own. They are always kind and patient, and make every moment a teachable one. My sons manners and behavior have improved over the last few months which I know will make his transition into kindergarten so much smoother. My daughter's speech and development has improved vastly in only 4 months, and I know that being at ready, set, grow has so much to do with it. The daily activities are educational and fun, the kids bring home such creative crafts and keepsakes! We have complete peace of mind when dropping our kids off because I know they are in such good hands. RSG is truly a hidden gem, I would highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a daycare that's second to none!
